Meditation

7. Meditation

Meditation becomes inevitable with the mess caused by the profusion of noises around us in modern societies.

Meditation requires certain qualities and skills, but for some of us it is natural.

This is why some people need to learn and practice and some don’t.

For introverted and very high-level minds, meditation is a natural state with which they must struggle to return to the routine and societal issues of daily life.

I can be sure of one thing. When you are lonely and depressed, you become a meditation practitioner.

I am always amazed to see young learners wanting to learn meditation.

Meditation has been my natural state of mind since childhood. I have to learn to get out of this state of mind actually…

That’s why I find it hard to understand that you have to learn these techniques.

However, here are some definitions and explanations for people who don’t know.

1. What is meditation ?

Some Definitions

Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique, such as focusing their mind on a particular object, thought, or activity, to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state.

Meditation has been practiced since ancient times in many religious traditions and beliefs.

Meditation is not:

Just close your eyes and think about something

Thinking about fantasies

2. What are the benefits of meditation?

Meditation can be used to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, and to increase peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being.

Meditation is being researched to define its possible health effects (psychological, neurological and cardiovascular) and other effects.

3. Meditation techniques

The techniques needed will depend on your own sensitivity and stress level.

It will be easier for introverts than for extroverts who always need to be surrounded by people in order to live, work and play.

If you are naturally calm, all you need to do is focus on yourself.
